RADEX RD1503+ can be used by non-professionals for quick and reliable measurement of radiation background in environment, soil and non-consumable products.
This model features:

• Simple interface
• Multi-threshold audio alarm with range from 0.10 to 0.90 µSv/h
• BACKGROUND mode detection: designed to detect sources of higher radiation compared to base level

I see I get to write a first review. I bought it because it is simple. Works as advertised and Dmitry has been very helpful! Will recommend to my friends!
A household with lots of broken toys –
Easy to use.
Bought this for my son’s science class and two months later it is still working, which is an accomplishment in my book. We go through electronics faster than newborn goes through diapers! Maybe because it is made in Russia or maybe because it is designed to survive a 13 year old trryin to take it apart, I really do not care. I am though impressed. My hat’s off to all of you folks at Quatrarad!
